OH Medical is currently seeking a Senior Occupational Health Advisor for one of our clients, a Leading Occupational Health Provider in this Full-time, Permanent position. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a hybrid position from a fixed site in Acton with a dedicated client.
What you'll be doing:
Lead and Support: Provide leadership and support to the clinical team, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the Emergency Response, Treatment, and Occupational Health services.
Service Evaluation: Regularly assess service standards in line with contractual agreements to guarantee high-quality delivery. Oversee and deploy staff to ensure consistent service continuity.
Clinical Leadership: Act autonomously as the clinical lead, delivering treatment and Occupational Health services.
Team Culture: Foster a positive and supportive team environment by upholding and promoting the company’s values.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the recruitment, selection, and induction processes for new team members.
Competency Reviews: Conduct, review, and document regular clinical competency assessments, including annual reviews, competency checklists, and probation meetings. Audit clinical work regularly.
Audit Programmes: Initiate and participate in peer audit programmes to ensure compliance with evidence-based standards.
Staff Training and Development: Ensure all staff are appropriately qualified, inducted, and trained to deliver a quality service. Share this information with the HR and Clinical Operations teams.
Professional Standards: Maintain high professional standards and address any breaches in conduct within the team.
Professional Development: Take responsibility for your own professional growth, maintaining current skills and developing new ones relevant to your practice area.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with site operations and multiple stakeholders across various sites. Attend daily and weekly site operations meetings.
Reporting: Analyse and present monthly management information (MI) and key performance indicator (KPI) data to commercial and operational teams within client deadlines.
Wellbeing Initiatives: Assist in coordinating and promoting wellbeing initiatives.
Required Skills:
Nurse with a valid NMC registration
On Part 3 of the specialist register for Occupational Health
Previous experience providing clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Health Nurses and Technicians
