OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role in Chester. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a hybrid post with your working week split between clinic-based, onsite client visits and opportunities to work from home.
The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established multidisciplinary Occupational Health Team to deliver a first-class full remit Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include:
Delivering expert case management services, producing professional, comprehensive evidence-based reports concerning sickness absence, fitness for work, and other OH-related advice.
Conducting pre-employment screening, fitness medicals and health surveillance as necessary, adhering to best practice standards, policies and protocols.
Assessing the outcomes of medicals and health surveillance, ensuring accurate fitness advice is given and escalating when clinically necessary.
Providing Workplace assessments and reporting on potential risks to employee health.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:
NMC Registered Nurse
Qualified to Degree / Diploma Level in Occupational Health Preferred But Not Essential
Effective Time Management and Organisational Skills with the Ability to Manage Your Own Workload and Work to Strict Deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work
Knowledge and Experience of Case Management & Health Surveillance.
Strong IT Literacy is Essential.
Able to travel to client sites when required weekly
