OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established in-house Occupational Health Department, in a Part-Time (22.5 hours / 3 Days) Permanent role. This exciting site based opportunity will see you join a multidisciplinary team in Ormskirk.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to provide a first-class full remit Occupational Health service. Your duties will include:
Provide Pre-employment Medicals that include drug testing
Providing Travel Health Clinics including vaccinations
Deliver Well Person Screening
Undertake Case Management including Sickness Absence Management
Deliver Health Promotion and provide support to the Mental Health First Aiders.
Attend EHS committee meetings and conduct the risk assessments highlighted health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, vision, FTL driver medicals, hot worker medicals and night worker medicals.
Manage electronic Occupational Health records and compile statistical reports
Conducting specific project work as requested by the HR or EHS Managers.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:
An NMC Registered Nurse
Qualified to degree or diploma level (or equivalent) in Occupational Health (Essential).
Recently experienced within an Occupational Health role, within a Safety Critical or Manufacturing environment.
Experienced in undertaking both Case Management & Health Surveillance.
Competently skilled in IT
Be able to work autonomously with the support of the Occupational Health, HR and EHS teams.
Salary & Benefits:
In return for your expertise as the Occupational Health Advisor, you will receive:
A competitive salary commensurate with your experience level - Up to £53,000 PA Pro Rata
Management Incentive Plan – up to 10% of basic salary (not guaranteed)
Pension Plan – contribution scheme with up to 8% employer contribution.
15 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays
Holiday Purchase Scheme
22.5 hours per week – preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with flexible work pattern
