Hybrid Case Manager - Wigan

​OH Medical is currently recruiting for a Case Manager to work with our client a rapidly growing case management provider in the Wigan area. This is a hybrid position where you will be required to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office in Wigan, the remaining days can be spent working from home if required. There will be a requirement to travel to visit clients in the North West region.

Job Purpose Summary:

As a Case Manager, you will work with clients who have been through a traumatic experience helping them to manage their conditions, and making recommendations to solicitors surrounding what assistance, equipment, and rehabilitation services your client would benefit from in the most cost-effective way.

  • To assess your clients' abilities, and difficulties in relation to their goal of achieving independence in their day-to-day life as a part of your clients' claim for compensation

  • Creating and maintaining a suitable Case Management Plan to enable your client to achieve their optimum level of independence by using a goal-setting process and documenting outcome measures

  • To take account of expert evidence advice provided as part of the litigation process

  • To co-ordinate a structured approach to the development of individuals wand to keep accurate records of supervision provided, making sure to take account of all current and relevant legislation.

Required Skills:

This opportunity does not require you to have previous experience in a specific sector however, you must have good clinical experience and knowledge of one of the following sectors

  • Clinical experience in your specific sector

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • RGN Nursing Qualification

  • CQSW / DipSW or other relevant Social Care qualifications

  • Qualification in Clinical / Neuro Psychology

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy

  • HCPC / CSP Registration

  • Ability to develop good relations with clients

  • Ability to travel to client sites across the North West

Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £42,000 (Dependant on qualifications and experience)
