Job Title Occupational Health Advisor - Ongoing Contract
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our client based in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of occupational health services to our clients employees, including vaccinations, hearing and vision testing, spirometry, and phlebotomy. With the options for Full or Part-time hours
Key Responsibilities:
Provide vaccinations to employees according to company policies and health regulations.
Conduct hearing and vision testing and spirometry to identify potential workplace hazards and employee health issues.
Perform phlebotomy and other diagnostic tests as required.
Manage workplace hazards and promote safe working practices to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in collaboration with management and the human resources team.
Maintain accurate records and reports of employee health status, incidents, and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Provide health education and counselling to employees on a range of topics, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and smoking cessation.
Collaborate with external healthcare providers and agencies as required to support employee health and wellbeing.
Requirements:
NMC Registered Nurse
Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health nursing.
Experience administering vaccinations, conducting hearing and vision testing, spirometry, and phlebotomy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with employees, management, and external healthcare providers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Pay
