OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established in-house Occupational Health Department, in a Full-Time Hybrid Permanent role. This exciting hybrid opportunity will see you join an established National team. With your onsite base being predominantly in Warrington but with regular onsite days in Crosby.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to provide a first-class, full-remit Occupational Health service. Your duties will include:
Providing new starter screening
Deliver health surveillance for all colleagues in accordance with risk assessment legislation
Conduct sickness absence referrals and provide guidance and advice with regards to rehabilitation programmes, work adaptation or redeployment
Ensure the safekeeping of all confidential medical records in accordance with both business and NMC guidelines to ensure auditable information is available
Provide advice on individual health issues and deliver health education within the workplace to maximise colleague understanding
Please note: This role requires flexibility to accommodate OH Appointments for colleagues across all shift patterns.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:
An NMC Registered Nurse
Qualified to degree or diploma level (or equivalent) in Occupational Health (Preferred – or interest to undertake Qualification).
Recently experienced within an Occupational Health role, within a Safety Critical or Food Manufacturing environment (Preferred)
Competently skilled in IT
Knowledgeable in health promotion and health and safety at work
Highly skilled in both written and verbal communication
The holder of a full UK Driving License
Ability to attend Warrington site as main base but with regular onsite days in Crosby as required (Company Policy – Employees must be office-based a minimum of 3 days per week).
