OH Medical is currently looking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse in the Heathrow & Hatfield area on a full-time, permanent basis. This exciting opportunity involves working across two key locations, providing occupational health (OH) services to employees. Travel between sites and occasional night shifts are part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to OH standards to support overall colleague wellbeing.
Deliver occupational health activities in line with key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
Conduct health surveillance and screening programs in compliance with risk assessment legislation.
Develop case management skills and gain insight into the work environment’s impact on employee health.
Maintain accurate occupational health data to support reporting and service improvement.
Work alongside the OH Business Partner to address health challenges and promote workplace health education.
Participate in clinical supervision to foster professional development.
Safeguard confidential medical records in accordance with data protection laws and professional standards.
Adapt to changes in working practices to improve service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Registered Nurse (NMC) with active registration and revalidation.
Awareness of or experience in occupational health within manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
Strong interest in health and wellbeing, with a desire to grow within the field.
Knowledge of health promotion, health and safety, and NMC professional standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Capable of working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver wellbeing initiatives.
Confident in decision-making, maintaining focus in challenging situations.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Trustworthy, discrete, and flexible.
Training and Development
