OH Medical are recruiting an experienced Occupational Health Technician to join the established team of a leading Occupational Health Provider in a full time, permanent role. This role involves working alongside a fantastic multidisciplinary occupational health team.
The Remit:
You will ensure the delivery of a first-class Occupational Health Service. Your duties in this onsite Occupational Health technician role will typically include:
Undertaking health screening procedures including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis
Carrying out Drug and Alcohol testing
Fitness for work medicals
Undertake audiometry and lung function testing
Delivering health promotion activities
Ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded and equipment is maintained
Skills Required:
Experienced OHT or Ambulance EMT, Military Medic, Offshore Medic with Knowledge and experience of working in Occupational Health
Able to demonstrate a self-motivated and proactive approach to work
Possess solid IT skills
Be able to prioritise own workload and manage own time effectively
Capable of working flexibly and to strict deadlines
Able to work both independently and within a team framework
Be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Previous experience working in a clinical/fitness setting
Salary & Benefits:
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Salary £22,503 per annum.
