Do you have experience in health surveillance and screening within occupational health? Are you looking for a fresh challenge to broaden your skills in a dynamic new sector? If so, we’ve got an exciting opportunity for you to join a dedicated in-house team! This role is based in Liverpool, with occasional travel to other sites across the UK and Ireland. Most work will remain in Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing across a diverse workforce. Working as part of a small and supportive team, you’ll collaborate with Occupational Health Advisors to carry out pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, and screenings to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

You’ll also have the chance to engage with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting health initiatives and delivering an exceptional service. With a focus on accuracy, you’ll maintain records and help generate valuable reports to shape future strategies and health-related decisions.

We’re seeking someone who can bring the following:

  • Experience as an Occupational Health Technician.

  • Ideally, training in spirometry and audiometry (though we can provide training if needed).

  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle (travel expenses reimbursed as per company policy).

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across a diverse workforce.

  • Solid IT skills to support the delivery of your work.

  • Flexibility to travel to other sites as required.

What's On Offer?

  • £28,000 - £30,000 per annum.

  • 27 days of holiday (plus bank holidays).

  • A competitive pension scheme with matched contributions up to 10%.

  • Access to a range of flexible benefits, including a salary sacrifice car scheme, healthcare cash plans, Cycle2Work scheme, critical illness insurance, retail discounts, and gym memberships.

  • A commitment to your ongoing learning and development, with regular training opportunities.

  • Support for physical and mental wellbeing through an Employee Assistance Programme.

If you’re ready to bring your skills and enthusiasm to a thriving and ambitious organisation, we’d love to hear from you!
